  • Chet Kapoor

    Chief Executive Officer

    A proven leader and innovator in the high-tech industry, Chet has contributed the vision and leadership to build Apigee into a leading technology provider for digital business. Chet has spent over 20 years in leadership positions at innovative software and hardware companies, including Vice President of Content Management and Search Products at IBM and Vice President/General Manager for the Integration Group of BEA Systems. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive Officer of Gluecode, an open source application server company that was acquired by IBM. Chet also served as a Vice President at webMethods, and he held various positions at NeXT.

  • Chris Arisian

    Indirect Sales

    Chris is responsible for indirect sales and strategic business development at Apigee.  In this role, he works to help Apigee grow into new market arenas, key partnerships, and sales sectors.  Chris has held a variety of executive commercial, sales, and business development roles at Oracle Corporation, Exodus Communications, Ingres, and Joyent.  He holds a B.A. in History from the University of Wisconsin,  Madison.

  • Eric Cross

    Direct Sales

    Eric leads Apigee’s direct sales organization. Bringing 20 plus years of experience in technology centric industries, Eric most recently served as Apigee’s Vice President of Americas Sales. Prior to this, Eric served as Vice President of Americas Field Operations with Blue Coat Systems, leading direct and channel sales. Eric has also held senior sales management positions at Citrix Systems, Siebel Systems, and PeopleSoft. He holds a BBA in Risk Management from the University of Georgia.

  • Don Dixon


    Don Dixon leads Apigee’s corporate operations, and he previously served as the company's CFO. Prior to Apigee, Don was Vice President of Finance at Blue Coat Systems; before that, he was Vice President of Finance at BEA Systems. Earlier in his career, Don served in several positions at KPMG LLP. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Santa Clara University.

  • Paul DuCharme


    Paul DuCharme is responsible for Apigee’s people operations organization. Paul has spent his career focused on employee engagement, leadership development and human resources operations at leading high technology, global companies. His most recent experience included responsibility for compensation design at the corporate headquarters of Lockheed Martin.  Previous to that, he served in a variety of human resources leadership roles at Cisco, IBM, Intel and CSC.  Paul holds a B.A. in Psychology from Siena College, and an MBA in Human Resources from the University at Albany of the State University of New York.

  • Stacey Giamalis

    General Counsel

    Leading Apigee’s legal team, Stacey Giamalis has had a long career as a business lawyer and a strong background in corporate and strategic transactions, intellectual property, privacy and corporate governance, and more. Stacey has served as the Chief Counsel for several publicly-traded technology companies. Prior to Apigee, she was Vice President, Chief Counsel and Privacy Officer at Adchemy, Inc., a SaaS advertising technology company.  Stacey holds a BA from the University of California at Davis and a J.D., Law from the University of California at Berkeley.

  • Anant Jhingran


    Anant Jhingran leads the product strategy and development at Apigee. He joined Apigee from IBM, where he was Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for IBM's Information Management Division. He also co-chaired the IBM Cloud Computing Architecture Board. At IBM, Anant was responsible for the technical strategy for databases, information integration, analytics, big data, and helped deliver IBM's platform-as-a-service (PaaS) capabilities. He has been honored with numerous awards including IBM Fellow, IIT Delhi Distinguished Alumnus Award, President's Gold Medal at IIT Delhi, IBM Academy of Technology, and Anant has authored over a dozen patents and over 20 technical papers.  Anant received his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley.

  • Joe Monzo

    Platform Sales

    Joe leads Apigee’s Platform Sales organization. He has held several key sales roles with Apigee, providing early stage sales and market leadership, then serving as Apigee’s Vice President of Sales, and most recently leading sales for the Digital Telco sector in the Americas. Joe has over 25 years of sales and sales leadership experience prior to Apigee, including with Nortel, Summa Four, Teleport Communications Group, Exodus Communications, and incubator Boathouse Communications. Joe holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, PA.

  • Denise Persson


    Denise Persson leads Apigee’s worldwide marketing team, including demand generation, product marketing, analyst relations, public relations, and brand strategy. Prior to joining Apigee, she served as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of ON24, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) webcasting and virtual communications company.  Previously she was the Executive Vice President of Global Marketing at Genesys, a publicly traded company and leading SaaS provider of unified conferencing and collaboration services. Throughout her career, she has built and led global marketing teams for high-growth, category-creating companies and helped take companies through multiple phases, including mergers and acquisitions and public offerings.  Denise holds an MBA from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business.

  • Shankar Ramaswamy

    Engineering and Operations

    Shankar Ramaswamy is responsible for Apigee’s engineering and global operations teams. An entrepreneurial technologist with extensive experience in the design and development of leading-edge technology and services platforms, Shankar has a successful track record from his work at companies like Paypal, eBay, Amazon, IBM, Torry Harris Business Solutions and Transarc. He has received several academic and professional awards, authored over a dozen papers and over a dozen patents. Shankar received a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

  • Tim Wan


    Tim Wan is Apigee’s CFO.  Tim brings over 18 years of business and finance leadership to Apigee, most recently as CFO and Treasurer at RealNetworks. A 14-year veteran of RealNetworks, Wan also served as the company's General Manager of Business Planning and Operations and the Vice President of Finance before his promotion to CFO in 2012. Before joining RealNetworks, Tim worked in JP Morgan Chase Banking Group. He has a B.A. in economics from University of California, Los Angeles, and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

  • Tom Weeks

    Customer Success
    Tom Weeks is focused on enabling and accelerating digital transformation for Apigee customers -- everything from digital business strategy to organizational process transformation. Tom has spent his career focused on building deep customer relationships through his work at large system integrators, traditional independent systems vendors (ISVs), and SaaS companies. His most recent experience included responsibility for all aspects of the customer relationship at Skire, which was acquired by Oracle. Previous to that, he built Business Objects’ global services team through its acquisition by SAP. Tom holds a B.A. in Economics, a Masters in Information Management, and a Masters in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.

  • Bob L. Corey

    Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, CallidusCloud

    Bob Corey brings over 30 years of executive and financial management experience in public and private companies, particularly in Silicon Valley with software and hardware companies earning more than $100 million in revenue annually. Prior to CallidusCloud, Bob served as the Chief Financial Officer of FrontRange Solutions USA Inc., an enterprise software company, since May 2012. Prior to FrontRange, he served in various roles at Extreme Networks, Inc., an Ethernet solutions company from July 2009 to March 2011, ultimately as interim Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Extreme Networks, Bob held a variety of executive positions, including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, at Thor Technologies, Inc., an enterprise software company, from May 2003 to January 2006. Bob is experienced in board governance and has served as Chairman of the audit committees for numerous public companies.

  • Neal Dempsey

    Managing Director, Bay Partners

    Neal Dempsey launched his venture capital career in 1989 at Bay. Through cycles of change, Neal's investment thesis has been to find entrepreneurs with domain expertise and the fine art of listening. At the end of the day, customers decide whether startups will succeed or not, and without listening to customers, entrepreneurs are seldom successful. This thesis has served him well through investments in category creating companies like Brocade, Informatica and Shiva. Neal balances the stresses of his workload by giving back to the community. In addition to serving as Managing General Partner at Bay, he serves on the board of EMQ Children and Family Services (a.k.a. Eastfield Ming Quong). Neal's leadership helped establish the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program at the University of Washington Business School.

  • Promod Haque

    Senior Managing Partner, Norwest Venture Partners

    Promod Haque has more than 20 years of experience in the venture capital industry. He joined Norwest Venture Partners (NVP) in 1990, and has invested in more than 60 companies since he began his venture career, producing nearly $30B in exit values to date. More than 20 of his portfolio companies have gone public and nearly 35 have been acquired (or have gone public and been acquired). Prior to NVP, Promod spent 18 years in operational roles ranging from product development, marketing, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer at various public and private companies, including Siemens International, Thorn EMI, Emergent Technologies and Dimensional Medicine, Inc. He received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Delhi, India. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he serves on the advisory board.

  • William “BJ” Jenkins

    CEO of Barracuda Networks

    BJ Jenkins is the CEO of Barracuda Networks. Previously, he served as president of EMC’s Backup Recovery Systems (BRS) division. He joined EMC in 1998 and held a wide range of senior leadership roles before becoming president of the BRS division, including Chief of Staff, where he led the highly successful post-merger integration of Data Domain as the foundation for the newly formed division. Over the years, BJ has also held the positions of Senior Vice President of Global Marketing; Vice President of Telecom, Media and Entertainment and Outsourcing Sales; Vice President of Global Field Marketing and Director of Operations Global Channels. BJ is a graduate of the University of Illinois and received his MBA from the Harvard Business School.

  • Robert Schwartz

    Managing Partner, Third Point Ventures

    Robert Schwartz is Managing Partner of Third Point Ventures, the Sunnyvale, California-based venture capital arm of Third Point LLC, which is a registered investment adviser based in New York and the investment manager of the Third Point Funds. Since 1984, Robert has also been the President of RF Associates North, Inc., a privately-held technical manufacturer’s representative firm. He is presently a director of several privately-held companies. Bob holds an undergraduate engineering degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

  • Edmond Mesrobian

    CTO, Tesco PLC

    Edmond Mesrobian has held CTO and senior leadership roles for several global companies. Most recently, he was the Chief Technology Officer for Expedia Inc., where he was responsible for defining, developing and executing the global technology strategy across the Expedia Inc brands. With more than 20 years experience in the technology sector, Edmond has also served as CTO for Real Networks, The Walt Disney Company, ARTISTdirect, CNP Technologies, and He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.

  • Sorabh Saxena

    AT&T Vice President, IT Architecture, Technology & Platforms

    Sorabh Saxena is responsible for AT&T's technology, software process and tooling, and BSS/OSS architecture transformation. This includes delivering extreme-scale solutions that perform at industry best operational levels and innovation in telecom, web, social ecosystems, R&D, application development and deployment, IT planning, IT operations and service delivery.

  • Aneesh Chopra

    Former U.S. CTO

    Aneesh Chopra was selected by President Barack Obama in 2009 to be the nation’s first CTO. He served in this role until 2012, looking at ways technology can spur innovations that help the government do a better and more efficient job. During his tenure as the U.S. CTO, Chopra led the implementation of the president’s open government strategy, among other accomplishments. Prior to this position, Chopra was Virginia’s fourth Secretary of Technology, and before that, he was managing director for the Advisory Board Company, a health care think tank for hospitals and health systems.

  • John Douglas

    Chief Technology Officer, MCM Fashion Group

    John Douglas is Chief Technology Officer of MCM Fashion Group and has over 25 years’ experience in IT. Prior to this, John served as Chief Technology Officer at Burberry Ltd. John joined Burberry in 2008 as Burberry embarked on an ambitious transformation program. During this period John has overseen the introduction of SAP globally in 15 countries and has established a global IT organization and infrastructure. Over the last four years Burberry has pioneered the innovative world of digital technology in the world of luxury fashion. This has placed IT at the core of the companies’ activities. Prior to this, John held senior IT roles within Diageo plc. and Allied Domecq in both the UK and Asia.

  • Bill Gajda

    Global Head of VISA Mobile

    Bill Gajda is the Global Head of VISA Mobile, responsible for VISA’s mobile product and commercial strategies and activities. Prior to joining VISA, he was Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Marketing Officer for GSMA, and Global Director, Brand and Marketing Communications for Ericsson. He has held other executive positions including Vice President, Corporate and Marketing Communications for TELUS Corporation; and Vice President, Communications, for Bell Canada International. Bill obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alberta, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

  • Rick Jackson

    Chief Marketing Officer, Rackspace

    Rick Jackson is the Chief Marketing Officer at Rackspace. A technologist at heart, Rick’s career of over 25 years has been focused on new and emerging technologies and their impact on IT and business results, fueled by his passion for learning and promoting new ideas and concepts. He most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer for VMware as it transitioned from virtualization to cloud technologies, and he has held chief marketing roles at Borland Software, BEA Systems, and NetGravity. Rick holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge.

  • Robert Lentz

    President and CEO, Cyber Security Strategies

    Robert Lentz is the President and CEO of Cyber Security Strategies, an organization that assists government and enterprises with cyber security solutions to gain competitive advantage. He is the former Chief Information Assurance Officer (CIAO) for the U.S. Department of Defense, where he oversaw the department’s $3 billion Information Assurance and Cyber Security program.  He is also the former deputy assistant secretary of Defense for Cyber, Identity and Information Assurance (CIIA) in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, Networks and Information Integration/Chief Information Officer. 

  • Brian Lillie

    CIO, Equinix

    Brian Lillie is the CIO of Equinix and is focused on building business value through strategic and innovative product development and information technology initiatives. Before Equinix, he held several senior-level executive roles at VeriSign, including Vice President of Global Information Systems and Vice President] of Global Sales Operations. Prior to VeriSign, Brian was Senior Director of Enterprise Applications at Silicon Graphics (SGI), where he successfully implemented Oracle ERP globally. Brian holds an M.S. in Management from Stanford University, an M.S. in Telecommunications Management from Golden Gate University, and a B.S. in Mathematics from Montana State University.

  • Mike Linton

    Executive VP, Enterprise CMO, Farmers Insurance

    Mike Linton has been in marketing and general management for over 30 years. As Executive Vice President, Enterprise Chief Marketing Officer of Farmers Insurance, he is responsible for all marketing, brand management, strategic planning, communications and the company’s digital efforts. Prior to Farmers Insurance, he has held various executive positions at Best Buy, eBay, and FreeMonee Network. Mike graduated from Bowling Green State University and Duke’s University’s Fuqua School of Business.

  • Richard Lynch

    President, FB Associates

    Richard Lynch is President of FB Associates, LLC. He was the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Verizon Communications between 2007 and 2011, and Executive Vice President and CTO of Verizon Wireless and its predecessors since 1990. Richard has been at the forefront of wireless technology solutions and was responsible for the selection of CDPD, CDMA, EV-DO and LTE for use within the Verizon network. He has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Massachusetts.

  • Aref Matin

    Chief Technology Officer, Ascend Learning

    Aref Matin is the  Chief Technology Officer at Ascend Learning. Prior to this role, Aref served as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Pearson, where has made great strides in improving open education platform innovation, architecture focus, and operational excellence. Prior to joining Pearson, Aref was CTO at Wholesale Applications Community, CTO/Senior Vice President of services and Delivery at TomTom, and CTO of Technology Products and Services for RealNetworks, an Internet and mobile media and entertainment technology leader. Aref started his engineering and technology career at AT&T Bell Laboratories.

  • Carole McCluskey

    Senior Vice President & General Manager, CrowdCompass by Cvent

    Carole McCluskey is the Senior Vice President & General Manager at CrowdCompass by Cvent. Prior to this, Carole served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Outerwall. During her tenure at Outerwall, Carole has also served as the corporate technology leader, Senior Vice President of Technology at Redbox Automated Retail, LLC (Outerwall's wholly-owned subsidiary), Senior Vice President of Corporate IT, the Interim Head of Corporate Systems Development, and the IT program leader at Coinstar and Redbox. Prior to Outerwall, Carole was the managing director of EttenAj Consulting LLC, an IT consulting firm she founded that advised VMware, Coinstar, Intacct, Edifecs, and Ultimo Software. Previously she held executive positions at TIBCO Software, SchemaLogic, and CapitalStream.

  • Deep Nishar

    Senior Vice President of Products and User Experience, LinkedIn

    Deep Nishar has more than 20 years experience helping to build and grow successful software and Internet businesses. He joined LinkedIn as the Senior Vice President of Products and User Experience, where he sets and executes the company’s global product strategy. Before LinkedIn, Deep headed product strategy for the Asia-Pacific region at Google. Previously, Deep was the founder and Vice President of Products at Patkai Networks. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MSEE from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and a B. Tech with honors from the Indian Institute of Technology.

  • Madhu Nutakki

    CTO, Data, Innovation and Advanced Technology at AIG

    Madhu Nutakki is is CTO, Data, Innovation and Advanced Technology at AIG, where he leads the Global Analytics Platforms for Big Data, Visualization, and Data Virtualization. Prior to AIG, Madhu was Vice President, Digital Technologies at Kaiser, where he executed a company-wide next-generation digital strategy. A veteran of Healthcare transformation, he joined Kaiser ten years ago and led transformation from paper to electronic for the first biggest civilian EMR in the country. Madhu is a frequent marathoner, blogger and speaker on health transformation.

  • Al-Noor Ramji

    Chief Strategy Officer, Calypso

    Al-Noor Ramji is Chief Strategy Officer of Calypso and one of the leading information technology (IT) experts in the telecommunications and financial industries. Prior to Calypso, he was the executive vice president and general manager of Misys Banking. Previously, he served in various executive roles at British Telecom, including chief executive officer for BT Innovate and Design and chief information officer and chief technology officer of BT Group. Prior to British Telecom, he was executive vice president, chief information officer and chief e-commerce officer for Qwest Communications. Mr. Ramji has also served as chief information officer at UBS (then called SBC) and, prior to UBS, as global head of operations at Credit Suisse First Boston. 


  • Hasan Rizvi

    Former Executive Vice President of Oracle Fusion Middleware and Java Products

    Hasan Rizvi is the former Executive Vice President of Oracle Fusion Middleware and Java Products. He held several executive roles at Oracle including Vice President of Oracle Enterprise Manager, responsible for the company's datacenter automation products, Vice President of Security and Identity Management and Director of OLTP Technologies, where he was instrumental in development of high-end scalability technologies for Oracle Database products. Prior to returning to Oracle in 2001, he was Vice President of Engineering for Corio, Inc. where he led the development of key technologies to enable efficient deliver of software as a service. He has a M.S. in Computer Science from Rutgers University and an M.S. in Engineering Management from Stanford University.

  • Paul Daugherty

    CTO, Accenture

    Paul Daugherty is Accenture’s chief technology officer, where he leads the company’s Technology Innovation & Ecosystem group on a global basis. In addition to having responsibility for Accenture’s technology strategy, Paul focuses on driving innovation through R&D activities in Accenture’s Technology Labs; maximizing value from the fast-changing and dynamic technology ecosystem; and leveraging emerging technologies to bring the newest innovations to clients globally. 

  • Sam Ramji

    CEO, The Cloud Foundry Foundation

    Sam Ramji is the CEO of the Cloud Foundry Foundation. Sam brings nearly 20 years of industry experience to Apigee’s Advisory Board. Most recently, he led strategy for Apigee. Prior to this, Sam designed and led Microsoft's open source strategy and drove product strategy for BEA WebLogic Integration. He is the board secretary of Outercurve Foundation and a member of multiple industry advisory boards.

  • Jerry Wolfe

    CEO, Vivanda
    Jerry Wolfe is the former CIO and Vice President of Connected Commerce at McCormick and Company Inc. Over the past several years, he has been focused on incubating global growth strategy associated with the connected consumer. Wolfe currently serves as the CEO of Vivanda, a spin-off of McCormick’s popular portable food personalization services platform – FlavorPrint®. Wolfe has worked in the CPG Industry in some manner for more than 25 years. Earlier in his career, he was a member of the core team that founded Manugistics, an the early supply chain management software pioneer where he was one of the original solution developers. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Dickinson College.
  • Steve Rowland

    Executive Vice President, Worldwide Field Operations, DataStax

    With over 20 years of experience in technology sales, Steve came to Apigee from Blue Coat Systems, where he was Vice President of Field Operations for regions including the Americas, Asia Pacific and Japan. Prior to that, Steve served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Workbrain Corporation, which was sold to Infor Global Solutions. He also spent eight years at BMC Software, where his last role was Vice President of Sales. Steve also held sales management positions at Carrier Corporation, a division of United Technologies Corporation. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from Texas A&M.
