Apigee to Speed Data Delivery and Monetization for the Qrious Data, Analytics & Application Platform
April, 15, 2014 – Apigee today announced that Telecom Digital Ventures New Zealand has chosen the Apigee API platform to power Qrious, a new business that provides a better way for organizations to create value from data, analytics and applications. Founded by Digital Ventures, a division of Telecom New Zealand – the country’s largest telecommunications company – Qrious is using Apigee to help develop and grow new digital services and drive additional revenue streams for their customers.
Qrious offers a big data and analytics platform designed to deliver a better way for organizations and New Zealand as a whole to tap into data insights. Using Apigee, Qrious will create an Insight Exchange where providers (government and enterprises) can share insights, combine them with other available data in the ecosystem, and then create even more meaningful business insights – from solutions for public transportation to housing to healthcare.

Self-service onboarding, data security and deep analytics of API usage delivered through Apigee will also be part of the Qrious platform.
