4.14.07.00 - Apigee Edge on-premises release notes
On Friday, August 22, 2014, we released a quarterly version of Apigee Edge on-premises.

Following are the new features and enhancements in this release.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 supportOPD341
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 is supported on Edge on-premises installations.
- Monetization upgrade
Edge monetization can now be upgraded with a script. For more information, see the Apigee Edge OPDK Install and Configuration Guide.
- Analytics Services: Identifying routers and message processorsAPIRT-22
Edge Analytics Services now identifies the specific router or message processor that handled an API request, which is stored in system variables system.uuid (for message processors) and router.uuid.
- Upgrade Postgres to 9.3OPDK-467
Edge on-premises now includes PostgreSQL 9.3 and provides a script for upgrading data from PostgreSQL 9.1. For more information, see the Apigee Edge OPDK Install and Configuration Guide.
- orgtool script for getting organization dataOPDK-611
A new orgtool utility lets you query an Apigee Edge installation to get information about the organization. In particular, you can get the following:
- Servers/nodes bound to the organization, along with each server's UUID, hostname, and IP
- Deployment status of each deployed API proxy on ZooKeeper and Cassandra
- GeoMap dashboard removed
Due to licensing restrictions, the GeoMap dashboard has been removed.

|System passwords in clear text
|Passwords in Apigee Edge on-premises that were stored in clear text are now encrypted.|
|Cross-Frame Scripting vulnerability
|A ‘Cross-Frame Scripting’ vulnerability in the API management UI had been fixed.|
|Router in upgrade script
|The new Netty-based router is now activated by default.|
|Trace: Missing FlowInfos
|The API proxy Trace tool now shows all transitions within a flow segment (FlowInfos) in ProxyEndpoint and TargetEndpoint requests and responses.|
|Cache Out of Memory problems
|Improvements have been made to level 1 caching.|
|Error messages on upgrade
|After an upgrade, you might see errors in the log in the form: ERROR: relation "analytics.test1.prod.smp_po" does not exist. You can ignore those errors.|

|SLF4J error message
During installation, you might see an error message in the form:
SLF4J: Failed to load class "org.slf4j.impl.StaticLoggerBinder".
You can ignore that message.
