APIs on Node.js with Apigee-127: Weather Service Demo
In a previous post, we discussed getting started with Apigee-127, a toolkit of open source components for building production-grade APIs. In this short video, we’ll show you a basic example of a Node.js API hitting another weather API and returning a result.
Apigee-127 enables you to build APIs in Node.js and Swagger 2.0. API capabilities (like caching and OAuth) are added via a NPM project we call Volos.
This video walks you through using this example (available here on GitHub) to examine an API in the Swagger 2.0 documentation editor, test the API locally, and finally deploy the API to the Apigee developer cloud. Check it out:
