Consumers are engaging with all kinds of businesses in new ways, demanding more flexibility, and looking for engaging, entertaining, and personalized experiences. Businesses are responding and awakening to the opportunities being generated by this new connected, customer-focused, device-driven world we live in.

In this case, this 50+ year-old institution has embarked on a decade of renewal to ensure the Opera House is open to more people, in more ways, more of the time. This is a fantastic example of an organization reaching forward to new and traditional audiences with new and innovative experiences via apps and we applaud the Opera House for including this step towards digital transformation in its decade of renewal.

Through an app strategy the Opera House will be able to leverage the increasing “mobile” nature of their current and future customers and innovate to transform customer experience and engagement and meet the expectations of the artists, audience and visitors of the 21st century.

We’re looking forward to seeing the winning app! https://www.sydneyoperahouse.com/

If you are interested, teams up to 4, will spend 24 hours in this iconic building and masterpieces of late modern architecture, with it’s own built-in entertainment. And for the winner there’s a whopping $4,000 prize up for grabs and millions of users.  Sounds like a great weekend opportunity for developers down under!
